NZ Template

When you start ARCHICAD, the program automatically creates a new modelling environment based on a template. This template includes predefined settings such as modelling units, pen weights, layers and layer combinations, preset Views and other drawing attributes (fill types, line types, etc). You can either use these settings or change them according to your needs.

We've tried to save you time by providing you with a template based on general New Zealand conditions. The supplied NZE Template includes:

  • Layers set up for generic NZ workflow
  • Saved Favorites for NZ specific elements and conditions
  • Import Template (for opening DWGs/DXFs to use as reference overlays
  • A series of scaled Pen Sets
  • NZ specific Composites to use in Walls, Roofs, Beams etc
  • Productivity Work Environment
  • A series of Complex Profiles for foundations, beams & columns
  • 160+ NZ Cities and Towns for Sun Studies
  • Standard sectional and plan view Fill patterns
  • NZ Textures for use in Image Fills and Renders
  • NZ specific Operation Style for Energy Evaluation

I am up and running (with ARCHICAD). AND I LOVE THE TOOLS.
