Intermediate Interior Designer - Advanced

We are looking for a talented Interior Designer / Interior Architect at the Advanced Intermediate stage who is passionate about design. You will work in a small boutique team and office environment, based in Freemans Bay, Auckland. You will work from concept to delivery and implementation liaising with clients, suppliers and manufacturers.
The following duties and skills will include but not limited to:
• Visit sites where necessary to obtain survey data/photographs and other information as necessary
• Develop base plans from site information or received drawings for the purposes of designing interior spaces
• Prepare Conceptual drawings and presentations in conjunction with the design team for client presentations. Strong space planning skills are preferable
• Working knowledge of New Zealand Standards, statutory codes and the building approval processes
• Prepare contractual documentation for budget estimates, tender, client approvals, consents and construction
• Prepare 3D visuals and renders for presentations
• Prepare Schedules to support documentation and procurement processes
• Attend meetings with staff, clients, contractors and consultants where required
• Ability to run meetings with clients and lead projects
• Liaise with consultants, interpret their information and update documents to coordinate this information
• Follow office procedures as indicated by management
• Liaise with council to represent and monitor projects for and on behalf of the company
• Maintain a clean filing system on projects you are involved with
• Assume responsibility for office security if unattended: - i.e. ensure equipment is switched off, lights off, alarms activated and doors locked
• Maintain a knowledge of other projects status within the office as per regular office meetings should you be asked to help out
• Other duties in addition to the above as are necessary for the successful operation of the practice
• Min 3-4 years Experience

Computer Skills required:
• ARCHICAD
• Sketchup
• Adobe Creative suite including Indesign and Photoshop
• MS office Suite
• Mac based office OS10+
• Workflow Max experience would be a big plus
