Architectural Designer / BIM Technician

Our clients include leading New Zealand construction companies, homebuilders & developers. We are looking for an experienced architectural designers and BIM technicians to join our Christchurch team. The roles include design & documentation for residential and commercial clients, overseeing the work of our offshore office, and BIM modelling/coordination where relevant experience is possessed. Due to the fast growing nature of the firm there is an opportunity to shape your own position within the company. Meanwhile, our Santiago office presents the chance for international travel and a supervisory role will be available within that team in the short-to-medium term.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Design & documentation BIM modelling & coordination
Oversee the work of our offshore office
Liaising with clients, council and other consultants
Skills and experience:
1+ years of experience working with NZBC Residential and / or commercial design & documentation
Proficiency in ARCHICAD
Experience with local territorial authorities
Clear communicator
Personal accountability
