BIM Introduction Course
This course aims to show, through the use of ARCHICAD's BIM Software, how to fully model a basic BIM, and produce working drawings from it. Completion of the course entitles you to 80 CPD Points.
Overview
We start from first principles and progress through to how to cut sections, create details and coloured elevations, render 3D Views, arrange drawings on Output Sheets, and create Publishing Sets for Consultants and/or Local Authorities. We also look at creating Automatic Schedules, managing your repetitive elements through using Favourites, manipulating Layers and View Settings to produce multiple drawings from a single Model and how to add a level of detail to a basic model which expresses its materials in both sectional and 3D views. Time is spent using the NZ Specific Productivity Tools from Cadimage Tools and how to efficiently collaborate with Consultants using differing softwares.
By the end of the course attendees should be able to successfully create a BIM in ARCHICAD and produce working drawings from it.
Courses take place in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch over three days - 8.30am to 4.30pm each day.
Cost is $995.00 +GST per person and includes morning and afternoon tea
