BIM New Zealand Handbook - Second Edition now available
Tuesday, 10 January 2017

Building Information Modelling (BIM) adds value to the whole life of a built asset, from inception to operation. It allows the latest digital technologies to be applied at every step.

The second edition of the New Zealand BIM Handbook was released at the end of 2016, and expands on the successful first release in 2014 to help unlock BIM’s benefits for our building and construction sector.  It follows the normal progression of a project, covering: project establishment/briefing, design, procurement, construction, handover, operation.

The New Zealand BIM Handbook has been produced by the BIM Acceleration Committee – an alliance of industry and government – to increase the use of BIM in New Zealand. It is supported by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
