Mid – Senior Weight Architectural Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid – Senior weight Architectural Designer, looking to make their mark on the Architectural Design Industry. An appreciation for design, strong technical skills, industry knowledge and being able to deliver on client briefs is essential.
About You:
• Excellent customer service and exceed client expectations

• Exceptional communication skills (both written & verbal)

• An eye for detail
• Ability to manage own work load with little guidance
• Can work independently and make decisions when required
• A full driver’s license and car
• Previous architectural experience – minimum two years
• Permanent NZ resident
Ideal Skills:
The below skills are ‘ideal’ but you do not have to possess all.
• A qualification in Architectural Design
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in the industry – we are looking for an intermediate to senior architectural designer, with a focus on residential design
• Proficient in ArchiCAD V18 or later
• Excellent understanding of The New Zealand Building Code NZ3604
• An understanding of current territorial planning requirements
• Competent with using an iMac
• Rendering – the ideal candidate would have experience in using Photoshop/Artlantis or an alternative 3D rendering program - this is advantageous but not essential
• Industry knowledge and connections
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maintaining exciting client relationship
• Manage own workload
• Attend & facilitate client meetings onsite when required
